Meet Katie.I was born and raised in Topeka, KS, but my journey has taken me to all sorts of unexpected places. After my undergraduate experience at Duke, I worked for a health care research firm in Washington, DC before going to seminary at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. During that time, I’ve served in various roles as a youth leader, a non-profit counselor, a hospital chaplain, a preacher and a teacher. From short-term mission trips to college ministry to years in the "real world," I’ve seen the face of Christ in homeless persons, corporate managers, Guatemalan farmers, Hungarian missionaries, cancer patients, underprivileged kids, fellow students, and next door neighbors. I continue to be amazed by where we can see the presence of God when we’re really looking.

Sermons and Such.
My story is important not because it's mine, God knows, but because if I tell it anything like right,
the chances are that in many ways you will recognize that it is also yours.
